Enviroment Impact Assessment And Protection Of Dawu-Suizhou Highway

The rapid development of highway construction in China has got tremendous achievements, but at the same time the highway construction has brought the more and more serious environmcnt problems. This article analyzed the issues of environmental impact assessment based on the engineering background of Dawu-Suizhou highway.First, After reviewing the consulting literature, field reconnaissance, sampling ground type and ecological mapping by GPS and other methods of environmental survey, the article investigated the ecological and social environment along the highway of Dawu-Suizhou, and got the relevant environmentally sensitive and the sensitive areas of project construction. The project construction have a greater impact on the water environment and whitebaits of Xujiaku, because of it passing through Huanshui river, Guangshui river, Yingshan river, Fu river, Xunjiaku reservoir and so on. On the basis of investigation and evaluation, the article also analyzed and forecasted the impact of the ecological environment along the projects from five aspects, Which include terrestrial plants, terrestrial animals, aquatic organisms, the integrity of regional landscape ecological and the rationality of soil excavating and depositing site. At the same time, using the model of acoustic environment prediction proposed by the U.S. Federal Highway Administration got the noise grade stander of the main settlements and schools, businesses, and obtained the effects graph of noise within the200m range along the highway. Finally, according to the results of project environmental investigation and predictable. The paper proposed environmental protection measures from three stages of route design, project construction and operation. At earlier stage of route design, adhere to design concept which is "six insist and six establish", adopted measures of combination of avoidance and treatment. At Project construction stage, in order to reduce the social environment, should protect air, water, sound, and the ecological environment. At the Highway operation stage, should strengthen the monitoring to prevent and minimize air, noise and water pollution.
