In recent years, the traffic infrastructure construction is booming developingin China, especially, high-grade highway construction. In the process of highwayconstruction, molding process is the key in the process of construction of asphalt pavement compaction, which directly related to the use pavement performance and service life, insufficient compaction and compaction quality not strictly control will lead to changes in volume parameters of mixture, and cause the changes of void ratio, degree of compaction, compressive, tensile and shear strength,physical mechanical performance indicators of concrete directly, which is the important reason for the asphalt pavement leads to water damage. Early damagephenomenon of asphalt roadbed that happened in our country previously, the insufficient compaction is one of the most important reasons. So, improve the compaction process, enhance process control of pavement compaction, ensure fullycompacted mixture is the key to improve the quality of asphalt pavement construction.Asphalt pavement construction quality is affected by many factors, these factorsreflect the quality inspection by numerous indicators. Every index in constructionprocess has the different level influence of final quality asphalt roadbed, therefore, itneed to select the most influence indicators in many indicators of asphalt pavement,these key indicators are monitored, to ensure the quality of asphalt pavement evenness.In order to solve this problem, this article investigated the problems that producedduring the asphalt pavement implementation of work process and after compactionpressure, and analyzes the different factors on the impact of problems of asphaltpavement, for each factor, it put forward qualitatively the technique measures whichimprove compaction. In asphalt pavement construction, the construction of hot mixasphalt mixture in the process of compaction temperature and time control effectively,is the key link to ensure the quality of the road surface construction, so make surereasonable asphalt mixture mixing and compaction temperature is very important.Modified asphalt mixture mixing and compaction temperature is often use experiencevalue which the manufacturer’s recommended or paving test road, and not like anormal matrix asphalt mixture by Brookfield viscosity-temperature curve to determine,since the compaction temperature determined by Brookfield viscosity-temperature is higher, will cause the aging of modified asphalt at high temperature and pollution gasvolatilization, at the same time, it is not convenient to field construction. By Brookfieldviscometer, by changing the Brookfield viscometer shear rate, for this kind of modifiedasphalt cement to determine a reasonable shear rate on Brookfield viscosity test, finallydraw the viscosity-temperature curve, get reasonable mixing and compactiontemperature; Borrow torque of mortar mixer principle at the same time, the developedtorque mixer, bitumen mixture is studied in different asphalt mixture under differenttemperature mixing torque, torque to reflect asphalt mixture workability, arrive at atemperature range as compaction temperature, the method to change by the shear rateof asphalt mixture compacting temperature secondary correction, finally a properrolling temperature was determined.In asphalt pavement construction, the asphalt mixture, from the factory, pavingand initial pressure, double pressure, to the final pressure must control of all effectively,to ensure the quality of pavement engineering. Developed asphalt mixture mixingstation real-time monitoring system and the asphalt pavement and pressure monitoringsystem, real-time gather the technical parameters that need to control, at the same timeusing nondestructive testing technology PQI test pavement compaction, temperaturesensors gather the road surface temperature real-time to draw the temperature map,timely solve the difficulty in compacting the cooler pavement area, at the same time,real-time acquisition data of asphalt surface segregation provides a new means ofreal-time monitoring on judgment and roller compaction quality control, giving theowner management provides a way for the construction units, and improve the level ofasphalt pavement pressure implementation of industrial process control, changeafterwards control for process control, ensure the quality of asphalt surfaceconstruction, prolong the service life of asphalt surface, effectively reduce earlydamage of asphalt pavement, reduce the number of repair, improve highway operationcomprehensive benefits.
