Research On The Development Of Fanfchenggang Dongwan Logistics Processing Park

As the Beibu Gulf Economic Zone and the DongXing National Opening Experimental Area rising to the nation-level strategy, the city FangChengGang as one of the most attractive advantages keeping port city in this region is now standing in front of unprecedented developing opportunities and challenges. The DongWan Logistics Processing Park of FangChengGang is one of the mainly put forward Logistics Park by the Municipal Government, its planning design and construction will directly influence the future development of this city’s port logistics industry. There already have36projects entered into this Park, their constructions are now being put forward regularly by the local government. But because of the lag in planning design of this park, various historical reasons and lacking of professional logistics human resource and so on, a bunch of problems have taken place from the very start of the construction of the park. In order to find out the sources of all these problems, then carry out methods to solve them and better the situation, this dissertation taking an exploration on the current developing situation of the very park by reading and studying a mass of logistics park development relevant articles and paying a field visit to the place it locates at, then trying to find out an appropriate way for its future development.The first and second parts of this dissertation are the introduction of the current developing situation of the Dongwan logistics processing park and analysis of the park’s developing opportunities, strength and its facing problems and challenges are carried out through the SWOT method. In the third part, the effects and influences to the local development have been stated based on the port-hinderland logistics theory and Supply chain integration theory. The fourth part is an general strategic route of the park’s future development, which is based on the analysis result in part3. Part5is the suggestions and advices for the park’s evolution and improvement from five different perspectives which are the Government, Business and logistics association, management, standardization in logistics and human resource. Hope this dissertation could make contribution indeed to the future development of the Dongwan logistics processing park and other coming logistics park in this area.
