Logistics park groups multitudinous logistics enterprises together and organizeslogistics operation based on the principles of specialization, large scale andintensification. In order to give the full play of the overall advantages and achieveprofessionalization and centralization of logistics service, these firms share therelevant infrastructures and supporting service facilities through establishing strategicpartnership of coordination and making good use of the complementarities. Hence thedetermination of park scale is particularly important when to consider making full useof the logistics park and while also avoiding idling and wasting resources.This thesis first figures out the overview of the determination of logistic parkscale, namely the background and significance of the research of determining parkscale, As well as the domestic and international researching status of the LogisticsPark Scale. Secondly the thesis introduces some common methods of determininglogistics park size, such as classification by functional areas, parametric method,Space-time consuming method and analogy. Then the paper analyses and forecasts thelogistics demand according to the status quo of Dunhua City. The estimation andadjusting of each function area is based on the classification by functional areasmethod and at the end the total scale of the logistics park is determined based on thearea of each functional zone.
