Investigation Application And Evaluation For Landscape Plants In Several Types Of Urban Green Lands In Xuchang City

The urban landscaping is the main component of modern city construction, is a public that canimprove the quality of people’s life and ecological environment. It has multiple functions such as landscape,ecology and aesthetics. Urban landscaping is the basic construction of urban infrastructure. It can purifyingair, regulating the climate and optimizing the ecology. Landscape plants not only have ecological effectswhich embodies specific culture and artistic conception and also can create landscape diversity which canchange over time and climate.In the construction of urban landscaping, the quality of landscape plants have directly effects on thequality of garden green space. Plants is the eternal theme and the most viable subject in landscaping. Thecolor, structure and life of plant all can show it’s natural beauty, which have special effect on landscape.Based on the research and spot check of the main plants of green space in Xuchang, the information of thebasic condition of garden plants and its application has been got and after made synthetical analysis andevaluation of the environment and growth of green plants in Xuchang in order to find some plant specieswhich can keep on and improve ecological balance, protect and improve the environment, contribute tolandscape, reflect the history, culture style of this area.This study based on the Classification of Urban Green Space Classification Standard and the practicalsituation of Xuchang’s green space system, choose park, road, residence, unit land. scenic forest land andgreen buffers6kinds of green land to make investigation. On the basis of information collected, the articlemake typical survey of representative green space in Xuchang. The main respondents is tree, shrub, herbs,bamboo and etc. Each plants all were recorded name, growth and health status. The representative greenland of Xuchang were investigated in this study. It select10places from park,12from road,4fromresidence,3from unit land,2from scenic forest land and2from green buffers, based on random selectionand also also take the difference condition of same green land in to consideration.This study, based on the Chinese literature in this area and on the basis of plant species of Xuchanglandscaping, select several important basis in evaluating the function of green land plants by means ofinvestigation and judgment. After sufficient survey, plant species of the current landscape in Xuchang was evaluated comprehensively aiming to get the application principles and methods of green land plant.Starting with ecology, function and aesthetic, this study rise a most optimum configuration of green landplants, the character of Xuchang is considered, in order to provide reasonable and valuable reference in theconstruction the landscaping in Xuchang.
