| The paper aims to design the Bailang River’s landscape, then can improve the existingsituation of the Bailang River’s saline-alkali soil, restore the ecological function of objectiveand make it become the landscape of promoting the humanities and history, improving theimage of the city.This paper fully excavate the cultural origin of the Bailang River, understandhe existing planning of the Bailang River and study the theory of the urban landscape.Combining with its own characteristics, on purpose of building a Weifang characteristicslandscape, I use the ecology, the ekistics to Initially established the planning of Bailang riversidelandscape and obtained the following conclusions after investigation, theoretical research,summarized.1. Our project Regional Environmental Survey results showed that: around BailiangRiver, water pollution level varies area by area.: in may cases, the river flow has beenchanged and construction materials are use, which reduces the amount of water soaking downto underground. As a result, the ecological environment around Bailiang River becamepoorer.: in some areas soil salinization is more serious and trees and grasses in those areas aregetting less and less.. Therefore, particularly for Bailiang River area, how to set up a plan isimportant.2. Seeing the surroundings around the Bailiang River, speaking in the point of nature,both sides of the river bank look fine and natural: The environment of the inside of the riverbank is different from the outside of that, which makes different landscape. Historical humancultre is there with historical and cultural landscape so, it’s good enough to find out humanculture of the Bailiang River area. At the same time, considering the five critical points-thenatural environmental value, historical and cultural value, city area’s economic value andscenic landscape value, evaluation and analysis of Bailiang River are being carried out.Understanding the differences between upstream, midstream and downstream of BailiangRiver’s landscape, presentation has been made regarding the pattern of how to protect andmake use of Bailiang River’s waterfront landscape.3While studying, an issue has come out, focusing that protection is more important thandevelopment, stressing on two major points-ecology and culture, scenic landcape of BailiangRiver’s both banks with plenty of plants, forming large areas of trees will make Bailiang River"Ecological park, Leasure park and Fitness park". 4. The purpose of the plan we are studying is "keeping Bailiang River stay healthyecologically, harmony between people and river, supporting cities being developedcontinuously" with the concept of people-first and development follows, making BailiangRiver a Ecological park, Leasure park and Fitness park in function with harmony of ecologyand culture, with harmony of water and green surroundings, with harmony of details andsimplicity, with harmony of inside the bank and outside of it, with harmony of nice landscapeand transportation, with harmony of landscape and landscape:, city area along both sides ofthe river, considering many times in the point of landscape, making it a landmark.5. Technical points-amount of water, the shape of water flow, the soil salinity, layout ofthe plants and details are being studied.6. Working on the details of the plan, an issue came out, what the general view of thedownstream of the Bailiang River will be. That is,"one stream, two banks, many curves"."One stream" is Bailiang River’s historical flow on the basis of ecological recovery."Twobanks" is to include the landscape of the north and the south shore."Many curves" is eachurban or suburban part of the city will be the waterfront. By the layout of "one stream, twobank, many curves" historical culture of Bailiang River can be maintained.7.
