Since21st century, the sports cause of our country have met its new high by app lying and hosting the Olympic games, the Asian games and other international compe titive sports events. As the competitive sports are popularized, people begin to focus o n every physical culture and sports and their awareness of participating the sports acti vities have improved.In recent years, many districts of our country have undertaken the competitive sp orts events in great enthusiasm and the construction of the competitive gymnasium ha ve become a big project. The competitive gymnasiums in large scale, high standards a nd high technology are continuously existed in cities around the whole country. The1arge-scale gymnasium has become a city’s window to the world.The social effect of holding a sports event is not restricted to the end of the event, as well as to the usage of the gymnasium. At the present stage, the competitive sport s gymnasiums are under utilized after the events but our people have insufficiency of their sports facilities for body-building. In order to make the gym to serve and improv e the availability to the common people after the events, we have to take operation an d management innovation and operation structural reform and consider its multi funct ions of its usage after those events when it was designed.Different usage parallels with different space design. To make the gym satisfied with multi-functional usage after the events verified the space designs. This article st udied the game-time design requirement and the utilizations after the events by severa1aspects like location, field designs, inner space design and technical plant. Our aim i n to satisfied the need of people during the events as well as the various usage after th e events and realize the gym that could be compatible to various events, citizens’bod y-building activities and other functions.
