The signaling system of urban rail transportation is divided into main line signaling system and depot signaling system by region. Wireless communication based train control system has been widely used in main line signaling system. However, most of the depot signaling system uses computer interlocking system for its operation properties. In practical use, Single interlocking system can’t meet the needs of users, so it is of urgent need to develop a fully functional system to complete routine operation in depot.According to the routine operation of dispatchers in signaling building and workers in team appointing room in depot, the new system (ATS workstation system in depot), on the basis of computer interlocking system, should have the following new function modules.-function of train tracking and identification, timetable, supervision of track layout displaying, interlocking, handling and recovery of signal failure, test track, making train operation plan and maintenance plan, automatically making work plan for steward, automatic calling, management of working time and leave of steward, special function of interlocking, statistics and report. In the thesis, use case diagram, state machine and activity diagram of UML, frame diagram and flow chart are used to analyze the specific requirements and implement method of each module. Also, external interface relay circuit of ATS work station and its neighboring main line station and test track function are designed in this thesis.Then, manage the data of system with data flow diagrams and data dictionary. Train tracking and identification module in ATS workstation and special interlocking function of parking garage line module of depot are designed in detail. In the end, write the test case for function and property requirements of system.The thesis uses the project of laboratory, whose functional requirements, design and implementation in central ATS system has already been completed. Then preliminary requirement analysis and partial design of ATS system in depot are completed in this thesis, which provides support for design and implementation of follow-up system function.
