With the rapid development of the road passenger transportation, thepeople’s travels frequency and the quality requirements towards transportation is to behigher day by day. The traditional artificial management pattern already can’t satisfy therequirements of the development of the road passenger transportation. And thetransportation company must be reinforced, because of the SocioeconomicDevelopment. Following the continuing fast pace of the global information, theinformation technology stretches itself into every fields of social lives, which wouldcause a profound social change and technological innovation. Applying networkinformation technology to construct regional passenger transportation online ticketsystem becomes to be the key point of research and exploration for transportationcompany nowadays.Firstly, this paper introduces the developments of the civil city online ticket system.Then author have a analysis and investigation of the condition of Jinan road passengertransportation, and propose a new transaction pattern according to the characteristic ofJinan. The author then takes an deep analysis on function requirements and practicalityof Jinan online ticket system. And based on three-tier structure, SQL server platform,Remoting technology and modularizing program design, applying the data-spreadcontrol-concentrated network topology, the author have designed the Jinan road onlineticket system, which realizes the functions of online ticketing from the software designon data base chart, client system and data center server. At last, a system test isperformed.This paper will be provided with practical meaning and theoretical value for thecivil city online ticket system, which could solve a number of problems of city traffic.
