With the rapid development of hot-mixed asphaltic concrete, people gradually found manyproblems, such as environmental pollution, energy consumption, which is deviated from energyconservation and emission reduction in our country. Aiming at this phenomenon,related departments beganto study new materials to replace the hot-mixed asphalt concrete. The goal is to reduce its pollution to theenvironment and a large amount of energy consumption.So this paper USES the uniform orthogonal experiment to test of hot mix asphalt concrete, throughanalysis of variance and analysis of poor optimizing the gradation index, the dosage of filler, the optimallevels of asphalt dosage. On this basis, determine the uniform orthogonal experiment of cationic emulsifiedasphalt concrete cement content and level of emulsion dosage range, uniform orthogonal experiment wascarried out. Finally with the best parameters of hot mix asphalt concrete and the best parameters of cationicemulsified asphalt concrete determine the optimal mixture ratio of the cationic emulsified asphalt concrete.At the same time for the optimal mixture ratio of trabecular compression test, water stability test, bendingtest, penetration test, analyze the reasons and mechanism of the performance differences. And molding ofcationic emulsified asphalt concrete and the strength formation mechanism analysis, get the followingconclusion:(1)We Use homogeneous mixture of mineral powder and cement, and mix it with cationicemulsified asphalt mineral aggregate. The experiments show that the mixture has good workability andhomogeneous emulsion distribution.(2)In cationic emulsified asphalt concrete, optimal cement content was5%, the dosage of theemulsion is10.2%, water consumption is1.4%. For stability and flow values, using the PPR method weknow that the biggest influence factor is the cement content, the second is the dosage of emulsion, andthe mixing water has less effects.(3)Through the strength of cationic emulsified asphalt concrete molding and forming process isanalyzed, after mixing cationic emulsifying asphalt and aggregate to undergo a adsorption, demulsification,drainage, asphalt performance recovery process.(4)water stability coefficient is0.87. Its compressive strength is less than the roller compacted asphaltconcrete under the same mixture ratio. Cationic emulsified asphalt concrete has higher bending strength butits maximum bending strain is smaller. Cationic emulsified asphalt concrete permeability resistance isstronger, the permeability coefficient of3.81×10-7cm/s~4.88×10-8cm/s.
