The Research On Health School Design Of Jilin

Health education is an important part of China’s education. As a carrier of health vocational education, health schools have been developed in the new policy and strong market demand, some new projects are developing around. However, some problems are arose in the planning, design and construction of new campus, such as neglect of regional environment characteristics, fracture of their own historical heritage, loss of the atmosphere of campus culture, which cause wide thinking in the construction industry.Based on the design case of Jilin Health School new building project the author participated in as the research background, we make theoretical exposition on the design results of the project. By digging the design characteristics of Jilin Health School project, combined with the practice and theory, we tried to analyze and summarize the thinking of the design process, improve the inadequacies in campus planning, and explore the architectural design methods of this kind of campus.The new campus of Jilin Health School is located in the north of Xiaobaishan in the southern suburbs of Jilin city, near the Songhua River, the construction area is75000square meters. Starting from the analysis of environment features and function orientation of Jilin Health School project, we presented the design concept of respecting terrain features, coping with cold climate, shaping campus culture. Respecting terrain characteristics emphasized that planning and layout should show the mountainous region characteristics of Health School and use the terrain effectively; based on ensuring the rational function partition and traffic organization, we avoided excessive excavation and tried to decrease earthwork, in order to shape the local conditions and flexible architectural layout and groups morphology of mountain campus. Coping with cold climate stressed from the macroeconomic climate and environment, focus on physical combination, monomer form, and the overall coordination of the internal space and winter city climate, in order to improve the wind and heat preservation ability of campus building, and shape the overall campus morphological form with winter city features. Shaping campus culture concerned about the long history of Health School development, the subject characteristics of the health care professional, and humanistic environment requirements. Through inherit traditional academy space, showing medical building image, creating a good environment of study and life, we tried to make the new campus quickly become a place full of vitality and culture.Through the elaboration of design features and creation process of Jilin Health School, we hope to provide some useful reference for the design of health school on the one hand, and provide some inspiration for the group architectural creation on winter city and mountainous region on the other hand.
