Preliminary Study On Middle School Outdoor Environmental Design Combined With Campus Culture

With our country pay more attention to the middle school education, the campus environment construction quality of the existing middle schools are also increased every year. But accompanied is the phenomenon like the lack of historical context in the campus environment and site unsuitable for students to engage cultural activities, while the middle school campus outdoor environment construction-related theoretical study in domestic does not solve such problems. This indicates that China’s middle school outdoor environment theoretical research has entered to the bottleneck period. The author is look forward to seeking answers through the campus culture theory and combined with the method of landscape design.The first part of this article will take the campus culture and campus outdoor environment relationship as basis points. By combining the teacher and student’s psychological and behavioral theory and the comparison of Secondary Primary University outdoor environment to illustrates the importance of the campus outdoor environment with the campus culture for teachers and students and its characteristics. The second part will be based on the middle school campus field research and theoretical study to summarize the influencing factors and cultural carriers of the middle school outdoor environmental design combined with campus culture. The third part will be preliminary study its design principles and design methods on the basis of those theories. Finally, analysis the second and third parts of content, and summarized the middle school campus outdoor environmental design guidelines and attaches the two representative examples.The campus culture and environment of the campus theoretical research in our country is relatively blank, in addition to the study time constraints and limited research level, which cause the framework of this article still have many improvements. However, the author is pleased to be able to full fill the blank area in related fields.
