A Preliminary Quantitative Analysis Of Scientific Research Archievements In Landscape Architecture Ecology Based On CNKI

Landscape architecture ecology is a new inter-discipline becoming popular in1980S and1990s in China. It is the branch of ecology applied into the field of landscape architecture. With more attention on urban ecological environment and vigorous development of garden cities, landscape architecture is acquiring much more attention. However, there exists great controversy on the contents and corresponding problems about this subject in the academic community at present, and its theoretic research is meeting a bottle-neck period, but researches on every point concerning the subject are still gaining ground, the task of subject integration is difficult. This article aims to systematically analyze the academic papers on the research of landscape architecture ecology from the year1962to August,2011included by CNKI and fully reflect the developing process and present condition of the research on landscape architecture ecology, which will provide certain data reference for the development of this subject.In the CNKI database, in order to retrieve the key word of landscape architecture ecology", only55periodicals papers, related to12academic books, obviously the study on the basic theories is more less, which on the subject development almost is none. So this article starts from the basic theories research, and the connotation, properties, research scope and direction of landscape ecology is discussed, then determine the various research directions of subject words, with the retrieval of the Chinese academic journals Web Database of China, Master Dissertations Full-text Database and Chinese Doctoral Dissertations Full-text database, we can get in the related2712research papers in landscape architecture ecology research fields, including the1812journal papers and the900papers of the Master and Doctoral Dissertations.This article takes these academic papers as investigated subjects and uses the methods of library measurement analysis, logical analysis, comparative analysis and so on to start analysis on theme distribution, quantity distribution, project distribution, collaboration among authors, core author, attribute of the authors’organization, district distribution, scattered distribution condition of papers in the journal, papers greatly downloaded, distribution of college producing the papers, distribution of the keywords’number and frequency, distribution of the vocabularies’ time and theme.Research shows:from the whole paper amount, the landscape architecture ecology research presents growth trend over time, especially in the last ten years which entered a period of rapid development, and in which the landscape plant ecological research is one of the most popular research direction, while the ecological research on people in landscape architecture is the most weak, which needs the researchers’ attention; the author group of the landscape architecture ecology research has a considerable size, but which lacks the scientific research team who can keep the long-term stability and in-depth study; the source journals of this article are mainly from Landscape Architecture Science, comprehensive agricultural journals secondary, and the rest scattered in the relevant economic, and the natural science journals; Master and Doctoral papers are mainly from agriculture and forestry colleges, comprehensive secondary.
