Study On Landscape Along Liangxi River In Wuxi From The Perspective Of Landscape Ecology

Waterfront space research has always been one of the focuses of landscape design research.Wuxi is a Jiangnan City with many rivers.Urban rivers have an important impact on urban economy,culture and morphology.Since the beginning of the construction of water civilization city,Wuxi has been committed to building a safe,beautiful,healthy,smooth and cultural urban water environment system.In the rapid urban construction,relying on the city’s complex water network,the landscape along the river has also undergone tremendous changes,showing a variety of functions and spatial forms,becoming a leisure place for urban residents and the "green lung" of the city.As an important urban river in Wuxi,Liangxi river connects the new and old urban areas,and has rich landscape patches such as ruins,small bridges,corridors and pavilions.This paper selects the landscape along Liangxi River in Wuxi for research,aiming to make a comprehensive analysis on the landscape elements and structure of Liangxi River from the perspective of landscape ecology.Taking the current situation of Liangxi river landscape as a reference,this paper puts forward corresponding suggestions for the landscape design along the river.It is a new attempt to study the landscape along the Liangxi River from the perspective of landscape ecology.It is also a remedy for the lack of rational analysis in design,and provides more possibilities for the future study of waterfront space.Through the analysis of the basic theories and principles of landscape ecology,some principles are extracted,and landscape heterogeneity,edge effect and ecological network are taken as different analysis angles from the perspective of landscape ecology.On the basis of concept analogy and landscape patch composition analysis,the quantitative analysis is combined with the visual representation analysis of landscape,and the two are compared.The landscape elements,landscape boundary and road system are analyzed,and the enlightenment to the landscape design along the river is obtained.It is proposed that the quantitative analysis results and the design discipline research can confirm each other,And some data conclusions are used to provide reference for the optimization of the existing landscape.
