It's a completely new age when we are walking towards to the ecology civilization. Due to the arousal of ecology consciousness, people are changing the situation of depredating from nature. We are looking for harmony between culture and human beings. And also the ecology beauty!As a subminiature universe, Garden provides us with a cozy habitation for our soul. What's the practical meaning is serving for people nowadays and being the typical of harmony between human and nature. How to use the point of ecology beauty to updated the principle of landscape architecture to meet the need of realize harmony between human and nature through the process of garden work. It's the request from the age and it's also the starting point of landscape architecture my thesis.Ecology is the outcome of harmony between human and nature and is the frame of reference of ecology process and system. In the first part, the writer makes an explanation for ecology beauty, and analyzes the culture headstream both in the East and the West, as well as the its realistic guiding significance. Then comparison the similar and difference among ecology beauty, nature beauty and garden beauty.In the second part, it focuses on exploiting the expressing way for ecology beauty both the east and the west from the different basis of philosophy and judging for beauty. Hence the different express ways.And in the third part, it focuses on expressing the ecology beauty theory in garden culture. Enumerates related theories to the garden design such as Ecology, Landscape Ecology, Ecological Aesthetics, and Garden Aesthetics. The concluding for ecology beauty in designing is that seeking the nature energy and the harmony between human and nature.The main contents of the last part is how the ecology beauty using in garden design. It divided into five groups including landform,plant disposition,waterscape,garden road and garden architecture.
