With the rapid development of network and communication technology, wireless diagnosissystem has a very important significance in the vehicle battery diagnosis field. General carbattery diagnosis, we use an instrument to detect vehicle battery through a wired way,which provides great convenience for the maintenance of vehicle. But this method only isused when vehicle problems come, so it has potential safety hazard, also need a lot ofmanpower and material resources. So wireless network communication technology basedon GPRS, has a considerable advantage in this case. The combination of embedded systemand wireless communication technology together is the inevitable trend of the future of theembedded application.This topic is based on the project of vehicle battery diagnose system based on GPRS froman auto parts company, its main content is that with an existing battery sensor as thefoundation, we design LIN signal processing circuit, use GPRS network function, realizedata transmission between acquisition system and server diagnose center as well asbattery and automotive diagnostic work in server diagnostic center. GPRS has been widelyused in the industrial field with advantage on remote work, but so far there is no GPRSapplication in the automotive battery diagnosis precedent. On the basis of the maturemobile communication technology at present, we combine the SIM300module and thenetwork communication programming technology, realizes the remote work aboutbattery and automotive diagnosis.This paper mainly introduces framework design of vehicle battery diagnosis system basedon GPRS,as well as system theory, such as ARM processor, LIN bus technology, GPRStechnology, also describes the realization of data acquisition system and hardware circuitfunction of each module. According to test requirements, using server diagnostic softwarebased on Visual C++6.0and mobile phone of the system overall test, and test results are analyzed in detail and improvement measures are suggested. Experiment results prove thefeasibility of vehicle battery diagnosis system based on GPRS, and has the referencesignificance for research of wireless diagnosis system of hybrid gateway.
