The Study On Features Urbanization Model Of Daling River And Xiaoling River Watersheds In Chaoyang City

Daling River and Xiaoling River, most of their watersheds are in Chaoyang city. As the one of the most important parts of Liaoning province, these regions were poverty and backwardness and people with low living standards because of economic underdevelopment, but in recent years, Daling River watersheds and Xiaoling River watersheds are in rapid development, just like a wonderful flower blooming in western Liaoning earth. Now in the major strategic background of the revitalization of the old industrial bases in Northeast China and breakthrough Liaoning Northwest, the focus of this article are exploring a features urbanization road that fit the resources environment and the characteristics of industrial development of Daling River and Xiaoling River watersheds, so that promoting urbanization improving the level of urbanization.The article analyzes the domestic and foreign urbanization theories and experiences of similar areas and development process of Daling River and Xiaoling River watersheds by the ways of literature review comparative analysis, field research, expert interviews, combination of system analysis and induction, combination of quantitative and qualitative analysis etc. The paper elaborates development process and characteristics of these two rivers in different periods and also elaborates driving force for development of themselives, then summed up the conclusion that the features urbanization model of Daling River and Xiaoling River watersheds is industry complementary urbanization.The article also puts forward development strategies and the safeguards of implementation based on connotation, function and strategic significance of industry complementary urbanization, at the same time the paper classifies all counties and towns in this area. All counties and towns use different development strategies depending on their different basic conditions, to achieve coordinated development of all counties and towns along the two rivers, finally bring about qualitative change process of urbanization. Furthermore, we can use these experiences to guide and strengthen the future development of the regions, also we can provide experiences for local and even other domestic rural areas or small towns in their infancy. The paper is to form a virtuous circle that theory comes from practice and guide practice while practice tests theory is correct or not.
