Roads to the city just like artery to the body. When roads are blocked, the mainchannel in and out of the city is interrupted, bringing great influence to the normalsocial life. Especially when major disasters happened,for instance the Wenchuanearthquake and the Lushan earthquake which happened on April20. When the roads areblocked, it’s very important to repair at once, for the relationship with refugees’ life.Chongqing is located in southwest region of China, and the mainly terrain ofChongqing is mountains. Roads in Chongqing were mainly built cross the mountains.The geologic hazards in Chongqing have many different types, the frequency andintensity is high.It’s necessary to analyze the damage of the roads accurately. So the expert controlsystem can use the analysis to guide the repair of the roads in first time.This paper is relying on the science and technology project "The research of therepair of roads in Chongqing when abrupt blocked", which is leading by transportationcommittee of Chongqing. In this paper, the author investigated the interruption of theroads, analyzed the characteristics of the damage of the blocking-up roads. At the sametime, the author analyzed and summarized the characteristics of road geologic hazards,and combined with the formation mechanism of road geologic hazards. On the basis, theauthor determined the impact factors of road damage, formulated the evaluation theorysystem, and finally established the damage evaluation model of the roads in Chongqing.The type of the interruption is mainly divided into accumulation, collapse andothers. The accumulation type and collapse type were mainly taken into account. Andthe damage evaluation is according to the different valuation index, which is different inthe genetic mechanism, damage system. The result is more accurate and scientificthrough the methods above.The damage evaluation model is based on multi-level fuzzy comprehensiveevaluation. The weight of the model is distributed by the Analytic Hierarchy Process.And relative relation grade was used to establish judgment matrix. The membershipdegree of evaluation index is calculated by "ladder" membership degree calculationformula. Road importance and expected time to repair constituted the evaluation index ofdamage. Road importance consisted of the level of roads and the actual traffic volume.Expected time to repair the road consisted of equipment inventory and scale.When the system of road damage evaluation was established, the author comparedthe result of damage degree and time, and came to the conclusion.The model is used to evaluate the damage degree of interrupted road in first time,which can help departments and policy to repair the interrupted road as soon as possible.The objective of all the work is to reduce the loss of the interrupted road.
