For a long time, the rural residential energy-saving work has not receivedsufficient attention because of the "self-sufficient" energy supply. However, with thecontinuous development of rural economy, the energy consumption structure ofresidential in rural areas has changed significantly, the energy supply way is shiftinggradually from "provide for oneself" to "external input"; Rural residential total energyconsumption has reached one-third of the total urban building energy consumptionwith the rapid growth of more than10%per year. Along with the development of newsocialist rural construction and the development of energy saving and emissionreduction in china, energy conservation and sustainable development of ruralresidential has become a critical and urgent problem.This paper is mainly concerned with the investigation and demonstration aboutthe energy-saving reality of rural residential in Zhumadian area of Henan province.Based on the field research of30households of rural residential in this area, this paperobtains the basic information of residential status in the region. On this basis, currentsituation and problems of rural residential energy-saving are summarized, whichprovides basic information for the study of energy saving technology of follow-up.According to the survey results, combined with the climate feature of the region,this paper launched the study of rural residential energy-saving technology inZhumadian area of Henan province. By the method of data collection, literature reviewand computer simulation, the study of rural residential energy-saving technologies isconcerned with residential siting and orientation, body control and plane design,energy-saving design of the building envelope, passive heating and cooling technologyetc. which forms the results of this study. In the guidance of the existing results, thispaper has carried on the design of energy-saving residential scheme. With the energyconsumption calculation model established by the building energy analysis softwareDeST-h, selected energy-saving technologies are simulated to explore their energysaving effects. On this basis, three typical energy-saving schemes are made bycombining the selected energy-saving technologies. The energy-saving effects areinspected with the simulations of the three energy-saving schemes, which show that thethree schemes have excellent energy-saving effect.This paper aims at reducing rural residential energy consumption and improving the indoor thermal environment in rural areas, hoping that this paper can provide areference and some helps for rural residential energy-saving design in Zhumadian area.
