With the improvement of people living conditions and the aggravation of aginglevel, chronic diseases such as cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, diabetesmellitus are constantly damaging human being’s health. Because of the long diseasecourse and curing difficulty of chronic diseases, the prevention and pre-identificationof illness are becoming key measures to fight against such diseases. The remotemedical monitoring system is used for monitoring human being’s basic healthphysiological parameter dynamically, which enables people get online diagnose andguidance from doctors to discover abnormal changes of human physiological conditionwithout visiting hospital. Aiming at the urgent needs of medical monitoring system,this paper carries out the research on remote monitoring system for human being’sbasic health physiological parameter.The core target of remote monitoring system is to achieve the dynamicmonitoring of physiological data and live transmission, and thus the key point issuitable communication technology. This paper utilizes two-level communicationarchitecture, i.e. wireless communication and Internet communication to accomplishtransmission of physiological data. The physiological data is transmitted to PC firstlyutilizing low-power dissipation communication technology ZigBee, and then passed tomedical monitoring center from PC by Internet.The biosensor used for collecting physiological data is the bottom foundation ofthe medical monitoring system, which must enjoy the capability of low-powerdissipation, good portable performance and high precision on data collecting. Thehealth parameters to be monitored in this paper includes ECG (electrocardio), bodytemperature, heart rate and blood pressure, and thus a set of detection device isdesigned, which integrates detection function of ECG, body temperature and heart rate.As for the blood pressure, on the basis of existing research results in our lab, weexploit the wireless communication function further to achieve dynamic monitor. Adesign proposal of combining hardware pretreatment with software algorithmoptimization is used for the detection of ECG. The design proposal for bodytemperature is to linearly pretreat NTC utilizing wheatstone bridge firstly and then toimprove detection precision by software fitting method. The detection of heart rate isachieved through wave inspection of ECG waveform. On the overall design ofdetection device, taking low-power dissipation into consideration we use MSP430F169which enjoys excellent low-power dissipation as circuit core processor, and other chipsalso use products known for their low-power dissipation. In order to reduce power consumption the whole module is powered by2.5V. As for the design of wirelesscommunication function, based on the rule that separation design but combination useof the detection module and communication module, the wireless communicationmodule is designed to an independent, mature and reliable product which can be usednot only in the biosensor in this paper, but also other occasions.Finally, the effectiveness of ECG circuit and detection precision of bodytemperature body temperature are testified by experiments, as well as the operationconditions of the whole monitoring system.
