| With the development of low voltage apparatus industry, the demand of product markettransforms to small batch, individuation, fast update, rapidly reaction of the market. This trendrequests higher efficiency for production methods and designing of electrical equipment.Designing of electrical equipment is a complicated creative activities，which needs largenumbers of graphical and non graphical data to guide the design. Along with the wideapplication of CAD technology, it produces a large number of electronic data, information,graphics, and files, which has increased dramatically the amount of information and data in theprocess of designing. Using design database to store, manage, use and maintenance the relevantdata information required by design activities, provides basic technical support for theintegration of CAD/CAM system and improves design efficiency and comprehensive benefit.In view of the above questions, this article explores the relevant technologies and methodsto establish contactor design database system through the research the contactor which is usedwidely in low voltage apparatus. Firstly, this article introduces the background and status of theresearch, and researches the design of contactor and relevant technology of database system todetermine the structure of the system and the contactor design information in the systemrealization. Secondly, the functions of each sub-system of database system are divided andrealized, basing on the analysis of the process of contactor design, at the same time, the integrityof the function must be ensured. Then, developing the application of database system meets therequirements. At last, CJ20-63type contactor is taken as an example to show many facilities inthe design process of specific product, including design guidance of the material information,empirical data and process parameters of the design, and the system function such as query,update, data security, system management and data backup must be achieved. |
