Evaluation And Study On Urban Low Carbon Development In Tianjin

For coping with environmental problems such as global warming positively, the national "five-year plan" clearly pointed out that building a resource-conserving, environment-friendly society in the urban development. The construction of low-carbon cities in China combines economic development and environmental protection timely.Tianjin, as one of the four municipalities directly under the central government, is in the process of low carbon city construction. Some problems appear at the same time, it is urgent to build a complete set of evaluation system of low carbon city.This paper focuses on the low-carbon development of Tianjin city and makes a research on the basis of related information of economic, low-carbon and society development combining15quotas such as the per capita GDP, per capita CO2emissions, and car ownership rate. Conclusion:The level of Tianjin’s low carbon development is rising continuously and the development of the city’s economy and society has shown a trend of steady increase. The low carbon development fluctuates due to the influence of industry structure, energy source and traffic of the city.On the basis of low carbon energy, low carbon industry, low-carbon transport, and low-carbon life development model in Tianjin, the author puts forward suggestions on the development of low carbon economy in Tianjin.
