Visual art weaved by fiber originates from traditional textile, through long-term culture accumulation and exquisite craftsmanship, unique value are assigned to the traditional textile, such as embroidery, brocade and so on. With the improvement of living standards, the quantity demanded for personalized fiber art is increasing year by year. But traditional art fiber is too expensive and has long production cycle, so it is difficult to realize popularization. It’s a new ordeal to textile industry that how to balance the price and personalized of fiber art. Nowadays fiber art has changed greatly to traditional one, no matter on the material and style. Moreover, in the recent years with the development of weaving skill and dying technology and the strength of interdisciplinary, textile industry takes on a new look. As the new kinds of fiber art, FWCY appears under many kinds of factors.As a new kind of visual art weaved by fiber, FWCY is cheap and we can get it in short time. Moreover the personalized FWCY is very suitable for the development of household textile and automobile inner material. However, at the same time many new problems come to us. In order to match different styles of FWCY with suitable fiber, firstly we try to make FWCY with different cellulose and then analysis the texture of picture with the color theory. After we finish a large number of FWCY, we want to develop a new fabric for home textile with FWCY. In order to ensure the safety of FWCY, we test and analysis many kinds of index on FWCY according to the requirement of home textile. In addition, Special technology makes the FWCY heavily. In the sake of good soft performance and opening up a new way for the fiber art, we study the soft finishing process by referring the finish methods used to cotton with one color. The experiment result shows that:1. Since the linear density of cotton is bigger and the style of cotton is rough, it’s very suitable for making FWCY involving scenery. When we finish FWCY with cotton, the texture of tree can reappear on the FWCY. Silk can do well in details of the picture, so it’s suitable to make the portraits with high precision. Chemical fiber has many advantages, such as washable, quick-drying, anti-wrinkle and wear-resisting, it can be used to imitate of brocade.2. Through the detection of FWCY on rubbing fastness, soaping fastness, perspiration fastness and saliva fastness, it indicates that FWCY technology has met the requirements in some basic indexes nowadays. But the softness of FWCY is poor, so if we want to use it for home textile, we must develop its soft performances.3. Through the orthogonal experiment and single-factor experiment on FWCY with softening agent, we get the optimum, it’s that the concentration of softening agent is35gram per liter, the concentration of penetrating is2.4gram per liter, the dipping time is18minutes, the dry temperature is115Celsius degree, the dry time is20minutes. In addition, through the detection of FWCY on some kinds of performance after soft finish, it indicates that some performance have little change, such as weight, wetting, air permeability, drape, pilling Resistance. Creasy recovery angle and friction factor improve, the breaking strength and elongation at break decline a little.4.Through the orthogonal experiment and single-factor experiment on FWCY preprocessed by cellulase, we get the optimum, it’s that the bath ratio is1:50, the concentration of cellulase is4gram per liter, the handing time is75minutes, the temperature is50Celsius degree, the pH value is5.5. In addition, through the detection of FWCY on some kinds of performance after cellulase and soft finish, it indicates that although bending rigidity and drape improve a little, but Creasy recovery angle have a big change when compare with FWCY handled by softening agent alone, the wetting and elastic stretch performance have different degrees of increase, the weight loss ratio is under1%, it have no effect on the application of FWCY. Moreover, cellulase has little effect on color fastness.5. By controlling the time, the FWCY will have a good softness preprocessed by ultrasonic, the value of the bending rigidity is one over ten of the FWCY which has never been finished. In addition, through the detection of FWCY on some kinds of performance after ultrasonic wave, cellulase and soft finish, it indicates that the air permeability increased28%, the wetting, drape and Creasy recovery angle improve. The weight loss ratio of FWCY increases to1.58%, but less than2%, so it has no effect on the application. Since the aperture between fibers become large, so friction factor and pilling Resistance become poor. Moreover the breaking strength and elongation at break decline16%and10.2%, and the color fastness also become poor, it has a big effect on the application of FWCY.
