Crystal engineering and magnetic properties of coordination polymers have attracted much attention in recent years. The aim of this thesis is to synthesize a series of novel coordination polymers on the basis of organic drugs, nitrogen heterocyclic, aromatic polycarboxylate and metal salts, to study the synthetic conditions and rules for these compounds, and to explore the relationships between structures and properties for these new compounds.A series of new chiral coordination compounds have been synthesized on the basis of hydrothermal and ambient conditions, structurally characterized by elemental analyses, IR, EPR, XRPD, TG and single crystal X-ray diffractions. The thermal stabilities, magnetic properties and fluorescent activity of these compounds have been studied.1. Three new homchiral metal-organic frameworks have been hydrothermally synthesized on the basis of quinolone complexes, Hoza and metal ions.[Cd2(LevofH)(1,3-bdc)2(H2O)2](1)[Cu2(H2-Cl)(oza)](2)[Co(Oza)2(H20)](3)(LevofH=levofloxacin,1,3-bdc=1,3-benzenedicarboxylate, Hoza=(E)-3-[4-(1H-imidiazol-1-ylmethyl)phenyl]-2-propenic acid), compound1represents a1D double-chain-like ribbon and the1D structure generates a3D network structure on the basis of hydrogen bonds. Compound2reveals a2D metal-organic hybrid networks with incomplete cubanelike [Cu4(μ2-Cl)2(μ2-O)2] core as secondary building unit and then generate a3D network structure on the basis of π-π stacking. Compound3shows a2D metal-organic hybrid networks from ozagrel, which further generate a3D network on the basis of n-n stacking.2. Four new metal-organic frameworks have been synthesized under hydrothermal and ambient conditions on the basis of nitrogen heterocyclic ring.[Mn(timb)2(H2O)4]·2H2O (4)[Co2(bpdc)(timb)(OH)]·0.75H2O (5)[Ni2(tbc)2(py)4](6)[Mn2(1,3,5-btc)(bptp-II)](7)(timb=l-tetrazole-4-imidazole-benzene,bc=4’-(tetrazo-5"-yl)biphenyl-4-carboxylc, py=pydine), compound (4) reveals a kinds of OD compound, compound (5) shows a kind of3D compoud and compound (6) and (7) is a2D compound, while compound (6) consists of interpenetrating polymer networks.
