Study On Application Of LCVM To Mining Engineering

Value management (VM), developed from the base of value engineering, is a management science in pursuit of maximum value. VM of mining engineering is in pursuit of maximum value with management means, which will have very broad application prospects in the future.VM originated from USA. It had large applications in China, and also had achieved well effect previously. Although the mining engineering’s market is extending, the development of VM has stagnated in21st century. At the same time,"energy-saving, environmental protection, and harmonious development" has become the main stream of socio-economic development, which speeds up VM of mining engineering becoming an urgent affair.State-owned coal companies preliminary establish the modern corporate system, which has the characteristic of clear property right, separated rights and duties, detached government and enterprises, independently managed and responsible for its own profits and losses. In order to achieve these aims, use of advanced management methods and means to ensure to enhance the coal enterprises to synthesi ze the management level and economic returns.Under such a background, this dissertation puts forward some current problems we faced now through the research on VM of mining engineering’s actuality. Through neatening existing theories, get conception and method of life cycle VM of mining engineering. Through VM practice at a specific mining engineering, draw a conclusion that VM of mining engineering’s effective way is contract mode which combines three stages. VM conformity of designing, construction and operation management with the design-construct integration. Meanwhile, get some methods to accelerate the development of value management. Through the combination of theory and practice, this dissertation obtains some research achievements. And it can be a certain reference for our future research on relative topics as well.
