Anhui Efficency Of Urbanization On The Environment Impact Stugy

Environmental efficiency is to meet human demand for products and services, and the economic value of environmental load ratio, ie the economic value of environmental load units (WBCSD,1992). Its efficiency values are for resource use and the environmental impact of economic activities on an integrated measurement. Environmental issues affecting our country’s economic and social development, urbanization and embodies China’s economic and social development level. Urbanization on the environment whether it will affect the efficiency, influence how the study of this issue for the development of coordinated urban development and environmental protection policy has important significance.Anhui Province is a traditional agricultural province in recent years towards industrialization and urbanization wheel drive of the new development, in both the resources and the environment under the constraints of limited capacity, must be concerned about a major agricultural province to urbanization and industrialization process of restructuring the environmental efficiency. To be able to better coordinate economic development in the new environment, efficient use of resources and the relationship thus preventing environmental pollution and achieve economic and social environment, coordinated and sustainable development. In this paper, the efficiency of urban development on the environment in terms of impact of urbanization development level and the relationship between environmental carrying capacity. The thesis use1990to2011time series data and the2005-2011year panel data. The first to use Entropy get comprehensive level of urbanization in Anhui Province and make evaluation and analysis, using data envelopment analysis method Anhui environmental efficiency and evaluated.At the level of urbanization and environmental efficiency value based on the use of panel data analysis of Anhui impact of urbanization on the role of environmental efficiency. And make dynamic Granger causality test and analysis of variance. The empirical results show that:(1)1990-2011Anhui upward trend in the level of urbanization, from slow growth to the rapid increase in urbanization level has stage characteristics.2005-2011panel data showed that the overall level of urbanization increased in Anhui Province, the level of urbanization in different regions there is a certain degree of difference.(2)1990-2011Anhui overall environmental efficiency in [0.6,1] range fluctuations.2005-2011environmental efficiency of panel data descriptive statistics show the average differences in environmental efficiency in different regions.(3) regression results show that in the current period, Anhui Province, Anhui Province urbanization has a positive effect of environmental efficiency. Dynamic Granger causality test shows the level of urbanization in Anhui Province and the environmental efficiency of mutual Granger causality. Analysis of variance showed that lag20urbanization positive effect on the environmental efficiency gradually stabilized, and there is a negative effect trend.According to the results proposed to maintain stable economic growth, transformation of economic development, local conditions to develop urbanization, promote industrialization, rational distribution of industrial structure and policy recommendations to protect the environment.
