| Water and oil repellent finish is popular in the field of fabric finishing. A film with lowtension substance, which can not be wetted by water or oil, was contributed after water and oilrepellent finish. Polyester, as a chemic fiber with largest output, which has excellent physicaland chemistry performance, was used in lots of field in textile industry. Polyester fabric wastaken Water and oil repellent finish, which can enhance the performance, improve the value ofthe production, extent the range of adhibition. The product can be used to produce raincoat,uniform of oil-field worker, tent, table cloth, decorating fabric and so on.Irradiation technology has the character of clean and high power. The mode of irradiationwas chose as plasma radiation and ultraviolet radiation, and then researched the technic ofexperiment. Water and oil repellent finishing was took to the PET fabric, used the fluorocontained material, which contains fluorochemical oil-and-water repellent agent, withirradiation technology as the method of graft and irradiate-finishing in this paper. The purposeis to enhance the water and oil repellent performance, improve the laundering, and decreasethe production cost. In the experiment of irradiating graft, the fabric was tested the degree ofgraft, analyzed the effect of grafted degree. The result show that plasma treated PET fabricgrafted monomer achieved water and oil repellency, and the water repellent grade is2, the oilrepellent grade is1, and ultraviolet radiation treated PET fabric grafted monomer achievedwater and oil repellency, and the water repellent grade is3, the oil repellent grade is1.Polyester fabric is also treated the combine of irradiate and finishing technology, andthen analyzed the effect of water and oil repellency. The results indicate that the water and oilrepellency was imparted to the polyester fabric. The experiment parameter in excellent wasfound out with the method of the orthogonal design. Fabric treated with irradiation have gothigher grade of water and oil repellency than normal water and oil repellent finish. Fabrictreated with the excellent experiment parameter achieved water and oil repellency, with thegrade is10and8. In the end of the paper, the performance of laundering, tension andpermeability was tested. The result find out the performance of laundering was improved of the irradiated fabric, the tension and permeability of the irradiated fabric was descended, but this isnot infect of the capacity of fabric. |
