The Application Research Of Falbala In Formal Dress

As a kind of decorative mean, falbala is widely used in all kinds of clothing, especially informal dress. Falbala can reflect the elegant and romantic characteristic of women. This papermainly studies the design application of falbala in formal dress according to the modelingcategory and process mean. And the paper also researches the relationship between falbala andformal dress, and the different uses of falbala in various historical periods.I used illustration analysis and instance analysis to demonstrate different views after somematerial and structure experiments. And then, combining with the falbala knowledge, I did somedress design practice. In the process of design and production, I attempted to make a summaryfor all these knowledge. And I hope my research can provide some help for other designers.
