From the UN’s Millennium Ecosystem assessment plan to the ecologicalcivilization construction development strategy in China, these provide a good policyadvantage and the background of studying ecological assets.This paper chooses thetypical area of Shenzhen Bay Mangrove coastal zone wetland as the ecological assetsestimated object, with the construction of remote sensing estimation models in thestudy area, we can calculate the normalized difference vegetation index (NDVI),vegetation coverage Vc and net primary productivity (NPP) value based on remotesensing data, climate data, other geographic data and social economic data. Then wecould estimate and simulate the ecological assets in the study area, and compare withthe empirical model results. At the same time we put forward some suggestions onincreasing the value of ecological assets, Finally we analyse the Futian MangroveNature Reserve ecological assets value with the social economic data.The mainconclusions are:(1) The total value of ecological assets is156812800yuan annually. The value ofper unit area ecological assets is86730yuan/hm2a. All kinds of ecological assetvalue are sorted according to its value: mangrove ecological assets> aquaticecological assets> tourist recreation value> tidal flat ecosystem assets> socialcomprehensive value> maintaining biodiversity value> terrestrial vegetationecological assets. The mangrove ecosystem and coastal ecosystem value are larger ofall types per unit ecological assets.(2) This paper classifies and merges the results of ecological assets.We regard themangrove ecological assets, terrestrial vegetation ecological assets, aquatic ecologicalassets, tidal flat ecosystem assets the four categories as the natural resources of allkinds of ecological value and ecological service function value. And the other fourvalue-maintain the biodiversity value, tourism entertainment value, social comprehensive value, and fight against typhoon value assets as the existing valueand the ecological environment of the social and economic benefits. The results showthat the ecological service function value is larger than its social and economicbenefits.(3) In the paper we compare the results of remote sensing estimation model withthe reference model two estimation methods. It shows that the results of remotesensing estimation model are more comprehensive and specific, its index selection ismuch more pertinent.(4) The author analyses the per capita ecological assets (PCEA) of the Futianecological reserve. It shows that Shenzhen’s per capital PCEA (area of ecologicalassets of Shenzhen Futian Mangrove Nature Reserve) is4.72yuan/year. FutianMangrove Nature Reserve ecological asset proportion is2.24%of the wholeagriculture value in Shenzhen2008, accounting for the total value of forestry76.83%.All the datas show that the mangrove wetland ecological assets are of great value, wecan not ignore them at all.(5) From the policie and regulation, management, engineering technology andforeign cooperation four aspects, we put forward the countermeasures to maintainingand adding the value of ecological assets of the wetland ecological environment,ensure its continuous ecosystem service value function.
