This thesis studies and compares the origins and cultural features of the development of school uniforms both in China and overseas, on the basis of which, this thesis finds out various problems of school uniforms in China. Besides, this theisi conducts a questionnaire survey on different objects on different level, such as pupils, parents and campus workers. By analysing their cultural, aesthetic and protection needs to school uniforms, this thesis puts forward the neccessities of studing the daily protection design of elementary school uniforms in China.
