Development Of Polyester Imitation Cotton Warp-knitting And It’s Wearing Performance

Recent years,people s requirements of garment s comfortable were increased,sport casualknitted garments have become the main choice of people to buy clothing.Warp-knitting fabricwith characteristic of the product advantages with greater efficiency,shorter productionprocesses in the textile industry got wider application of.The development of useing chemicalfiber to imitation natural fiber fabric has also become a hot research in textile and garmentindustry,various universities and enterprises have gotten into the trend of the development ofinnovative.Comply with industry requirements,this paper developed imitation cottonwarp-knitting fabric with polyester and conducted research of wearability.Firstly,the suitable development methodology for imitation cotton product s developmentin warp-knitting machinery was selected. Secondly, two methods selected were used to weaveand test,which are uising functional polyester filament and using normal polyester todevelopment imitation cotton warp-knitting fabric.Then by contrasting analysis of the actualsituation of production and product performance,it s obtained that the cotton sense ofimitation cotton warp-knitting with super Cotton-like PET has not been effectively release,and super Cotton-like PET filament shrinkage problem is difficult to control,ordinarycompany is difficult to master it, the degree of scale production has not yet reached.But theshort pile warp-knitting with the super fine polyester by the integration of fabric weave designand dyeing and finishing technology, got imitation cotton which looks and feels like cottonfabric, and ultimately,it is determined to use a more mature,more cost-effective investmentand output carried normal polyester warp-knitting imitation cotton product development.After developing method was determined,production requirements and design options ofimitation cotton fabric were expounded. From the aspect of fabric materials,organizationalstructure,dyeing and finishing process combined together, development programs wererational designed,and the problem from the actual production were founded,proposedsolutions,and two examples of production and development were cited. The changing ofmaterial conducive to imitation cotton fabric in appearance, imitation cotton fabric s luster,color, softness, etc;Changes in organizational structure is good for changing the fabric s feeland comfortability, such as generating a sense of texture,improve ventilation, moisture,moisture and other properties;Dyeing process changes with the corresponding change in theapplication of new materials on the one hand,also to improve the comfortable of polyester,thekind of treatment such as antistatic is needed.Then the wearability of imitation cotton fabric, short pile warp-knitting fabric and wovenfabrics of cotton corduroy,which includs the basic mechanical properties,shapepreserving,comfort and fabric style were tested and analysised.Finally,overall comprehensiveperformance and comfortability were conducted a comprehensive evaluation by using GrayComprehensive Evaluation Theory.The performance of imitation cotton warp-knitting fabrichave been very close to the cotton fabric s,and the comprehensive performance of short pilepolyester imitation cotton warp fabric is better than woven fabrics of cotton corduroy andshort pile polyester warp fabric,and better in comfortability.This shows that this imitation cotton warp product development is relatively successful,meanwhile Grey Comprehensivenear-optimal Evaluation Theory results show imitation cotton fabric best in comprehensivewearability.Finally,from the whole production process and the results of performance tests,we canget the method of using warp pile warp to development imitation cotton fabric focuses on twoaspects,which it s warp-knitting organizational structure designed and improving antistaticproperties;this is because organizational structure closely associated with heat and moisturecomfort,and the antistatic properties of polyester and cotton fabric is where the differences,it s to conduct research direction. Therefore,the research projects provided some guidanceon how to development the imitation cotton polyester warp certain topics in future.
