| Plate is an integral part of the national modernization steel products. It is an importantindicator of iron and steel industry production levels. Straightening machine has an importantimpact on the product quality in the plate production process. Because of the complicatedstructure of straightening machine as well as the influences of such factors as the intensity of thenon-uniformity of plates temperature after controlled cooling, it has a bad influence on theproduct quality and benefit of the enterprises.This paper is focus on the nine roller powerful straightening machine of WISCO. By usingthe Numerical Calculation software, The temperature field and residual stress distribution of thestraightening process are investigated. The relationship among the temperature beforestraightening,intrinsic curvature and the residual stress is also analyzed.By using the Origin software, the deformation resistance model of45steel is established:σs=42639.47439ε0.31788.0.068εexp(-(4.47759×10-3T+1.14163ε))The contact heat transfer coefficient between the Straightening roller and plate is animportant date for the finite element simulation. In this paper, optimize training the contact heattransfer coefficient by three-layer BP neural network. The correlation coefficient betweentraining value and actual value R is0.9903. The whole mean square error between the actualvalue and the training value is9.993×10-3. Optimum value of the heat transfer coefficient isobtained.The three dimensional thermo-mechanical coupling simulation in straightening process ofplates was established by FEM software ABAQUS. Based on the simulated calculation, thetemperature distribution of the plate straightening process is obtained, involving the temperaturedistribution of longitudinal, transverse and thickness direction in different specification. Therelationship among the temperature before straightening, intrinsic curvature and the residualstress is also analyzed. The simulation results show that while the temperature gets lower or theintrinsic curvature gets larger, the straightening force and the fluctuation get larger. Comparingthe temperature and straightening force of the simulated values with measured values, the FEMmodel can accurately reflect the temperature distribution of the plate in straightening process.The straightening temperature field simulation results and the parameters can providetheoretical basis for straightening process optimization. |
