There is a common problem that the shaft and precision guide rail become bending after machining, forging, heat treatment and other processes. Many manufacturing enterprises that acquire high accuracy have been plagued, in view of this, we developed a high precise machine to improve the straightness of these parts. It is not only broad market for our precision rail straightening machine, but also provide great contribution to high precision processing technology for our country. There are few companies to make multipoint automatic straightening machine, most companies still use manual ways to straightening with workers operating experience to achieve straightening, The straightness and stability are difficult to guarantee. In order to improve the shaft and the guide rail straightening accuracy and improve productivity, developing high precision, high efficiency, multiple functional, intelligent straightening machines has very important significance.This paper mainly research the design and development of manual control model and each model’s functional programming of the straightening machine, the intelligence single movement in each sub modular is switched and transferred smoothly, the correct changing between the total program and the manual control module of the straightener is realized. The single feed module and order module of intelligent are introduced detailed in this article; process design, program design and the verification on program of rough feed and numerical feed modules are introduced separately in single feed module; Roller feeding module, the process designing, programming, and authentication on program of workpiece straightening and translation module and accurate feed module are also introduced in order feed module. In order to make the whole intelligence single movement control module of the program can debug normally on straightening machine, some hardware parts of straightening machine are simple described in the paper, control system I/O design also introduced on this basis. The I/O is the input and output port of software information, information exchanging between the whole software system with control card and control card with the outside are competed through I/O, the smooth exchanging between software system and outside message are ensured by the I/O designing.
