Abstract/Summary:
Serious degradation for grassland vegetation of papermaking wastewater pollution Inner Mongolia eastern Wuzhumuqin banner, vegetation visits to the region in2011. Based on pollution levels, conduct the line transect quadrat survey from pollution center to four corners.Then we using the grassland production performance and ecology evaluation system to vegetation degradation and explore the polluted areas of vegetation degradation. The major findings are as follows:1. The papermaking wastewater polluted areas vegetation community characteristics results show that, the central area of vegetation type the Suaeda glauca Bunge-white thorn(Nitraria sibirica Pall.) community, center heavily polluted area communities in height and coverwas significantly lower than the non-contaminated areas, the center heavily polluted area vegetation important value (18.1) was significantly lower than non-contaminated area (65.63); Community types in all directions by the regional centers of wastewater pollution trends:bare→secondary salinization base→saline meadow→Splendens meadow steppe→Stipa grandis steppe.2. The papermaking wastewater pollution regional biodiversity analysis showed, plant life analysis showed that the closer from the wastewater pollution regional centers, more annuals, perennials, the less; Plant ecological type analysisthe results showed that xerophytic the xeric plant in the central region, gradually reduced to the periphery, the center also the white thorn (Nitraria sibirica Pall.), the central area of pollution generated secondary severe drought; Contaminated areas within the native vegetation constructive species and dominant species disappear completely.3. Papermaking wastewater polluted areas plant nutritional characteristics analysis showed that the center of the contaminated area plant photosynthetic pigments and nutrient content were significantly lower than non-contaminated area, plant nutrient levels from pollution center to the periphery of radioactive increase, the central area of serious pollution damage to plant growth and development, and nutrition.4. Papermaking wastewater polluted areas of soil physical and chemical properties analysis showed that:The center of the contaminated area strong alkaline (pH=9.96) maximum, significantly higher than the non-contaminated areas (pH=7.68); Soil nutrients gradually increasing from the center outwards;loam in the central region decreased, an increase in sand content.5. The research of paper mill wastewater polluted area in Eastern Wuzhumuqin Banner, the nature of vegetation significant reverse succession, the grassland production performance and ecological performance evaluation of vegetation degradation levels:the central area of secondary salinization vegetation communities extreme degradation, pollution serious areas of grassland vegetation health degradation level1(extreme degradation). In view of the difference of slope of the contaminated area, vegetation characteristics, plants, and soil nutrient analysis sampling lines1(East) and2(South) direction pollution extent and scope significantly higher than that kind of line3(West) and4(North).6. Social survey shows that10years in the natural recovery conditions, the vegetation of contaminated areas has been restored, has gradually narrowed the scope of pollution, soil restoration longer completely restore the original ecological environment, with an estimated take longer, it is recommended that the governmenttake measures as soon as possible the artificial ecological restoration.
