Based on the data of forest resource management survey in Badaling forest farm and remote sensing image as the main data source which comes from2004and2009, spatial information has been built and processed on the platform of ArcGIS9.3. The classification of forest landscape types in Badaling forest farm is established. In time and space, dynamic of forest landscape pattern in Badaling forest farm is analyzed in multi-scale by the method of landscape pattern index and geostatistical analysis. And the Markov model is used to predict the trends of forest landscape types in the subsequent ten years (to the year of2019). It can provide the fundamental basis for the forest landscape planning of Badaling forest farm. The result indicates that:(1) Broad-leaved forest, coniferous forest, mixed forest and shrub forest are the dominant landscape types in Badaling forest farm all the time, with the area of broad-leaved forest and non-forestry land decreased, open forest land disappeared and others increased. Also, ecological effect of coniferous forests gradually increases. The degree of landscape fragmentation has improved, and the landscape types tend to be more uniform and reasonable direction.(2) In1km scale, the spatial distribution of SHDI is the highest of landscape diversity in the middle of the forest farm, and from the middle to outward, the SHDI reduces in turn. Its spatial correlation improves significantly. The influence of random factors to the overall spatial heterogeneity reduces. The spatial distribution of landscape diversity is not balanced on the whole.(3) In this farm, the conversion area among broad-leaved forest, coniferous forest and mixed forest is large, with the area of broad-leaved forest decreased sharply, coniferous forest and mixed forest increased. Because there is no conversion source, the area of open forest land disappears. And the remaining types transfer to each other in different degrees. Under current conditions of forest management, it is predicted that the area of shrub wood would still be the largest in this farm, coniferous forest would maintain an appropriate rate of growth, mixed forest would firstly increase and then decrease, but the area of broad-leaved forest would continue to reduce until2019.
