Research On Location And Routing Optimization Of Rural Solid Waste Collection And Transportation System

In recent years, the rural environment problem becomes more and more serious in ourcountry. The management system of rural waste is not perfect, not complete and is the blind spotof environmental management. Therefore, it is significant to set up a complete, scientific,reasonable, economical waste collection and transportation system to solve the problem of ruralsolid waste.In this paper, we study the problems on the location of transfer station and transportationrouting optimization from the transfer station to the waste landfill site, and give the wastetransportation scheme from the countries to the transfer stations and then turn to the wastelandfill site.In the second chapter, we consider separately the problems on location of transfer stationand transportation routing optimization: to the location of transfer station, we provide a basiclocation model and can adjust properly to the different situation; the focused research isthe transportation routing optimization problem from the transfer station to the waste landfill site.Using the linear programming knowledge, an optimization model is developed for the location oftransfer stations under certain conditions. Based on this location selection plan, we give thewaste transportation scheme from the waste landfill site to the transfer stations and then turnback to the waste landfill site. This scheme is the optimal one which needs the lowest cost.In the third chapter, we continue to study waste transportation routing optimization problem.According to the preliminary optimization scheme of transportation routing of the second part inthe last chapter, we optimize to the transportation routing again and establish finally themaximum efficiency model to the dustmen.In the fourth chapter, we consider the rural solid waste collection and transportation systemproblems on location of transfer station. The total cost of collection system, the number oftransfer station, transfer station coverage area and transfer station location etc, were analyzed. Amulti-objective programming model was established. The model has broader applicability.
