In order to control the geological disasters in Luanchuan County, we carried out detailedinvestigations of geological hazards in Luanchuan County with the support of 《1:50,000geological disaster investigation in Luanchuan, Henan Province》project. So we selectedLijiazhaung landslide blocks, in Longwangzhuang Miaozi town, as the main studying objectand got the following results:1.According to the field phenomenon, data analysis, and the criteria for the evaluation ofgeological disaster-prone, the geological disasters in Luanchuan can be classified into threetypes:90susceptible regions are in high risk,26susceptible regions are in intermediate riskand low-prone areas are in sparsely populated high mountain with forests; According to thescale, geological hazards can be divided into1super-large scale region,2large scale regionsand113small and medium scale regions; According to the type, landslides account for85%,debris flow13%, and others2%.2. Based on the field observation and analysis, we identified the size, shape andcomposition of the landslide. And we got the conclusion that it is dominated by medium-smalldrawing crushed stone landslide in Luanchuan, in the condition of steep slope,20%crushedstone, and loose slope layer with4meters thick of soil and weathered rock.3. According to the geological features of Lijiazhuang landslide,3exploration lines and5drill holes have been made, and electrical resistivity tomography profiles have been measuredon the prospecting lines. Based on drill hole data, we got that Lijiazhuang landslide are consistof clay, sand and weathered granite, the sliding bed is located between the completelydecomposed granite and decomposed granite, and the landslide is10.7meters thick. Electricalmeasuring data confirms the sliding bed is located in the decomposed granite. Based on thephysical and mechanical characteristics of rock-soil mass, we calculated the stability of thelandslide, and concluded that Lijiazhuang landslide belongs to grade II in geological disasterclassification.4.On the basis of comprehensive studies above, and the influence factors and controllingmeasures of landslide, we recommended the following measures: cutting drainage+surfaceanti-slide pile retaining, surface drainage retaining wall. And the we discussed the feasibilityof the measures.
