The rapid development of the pharmaceutical logistics industry in our countrymakes the medicine integrated strength continuously increased, the planning andconstruction of large pharmaceutical logistics center has become the inevitable trendin the development of modern medicine logistics. Therefore, the establishment ofpharmaceutical logistics center has become the focus of large pharmaceuticallogistics industry development in our country. It has become a key issue in thedevelopment of pharmaceutical logistics industry today that how to conduct acomprehensive assessment of system performance in the process of planning andconstruction of logistics center and optimize the analysis by means of simulationsoftware.In the era of rapid development of logistics, we have recognized that theconstruction of a logistics center with large investment and long payback periodfeatures is very difficult to change once completed. Blind construction and the lackof detailed planning will cause a lot of problems after operation. Therefore, in orderto make the orderly operation of warehouse system and reduce the logistics cost, it isvery important to have a comprehensive, scientific logistics center warehouse layoutand process planning.In this paper, we take the logistics warehouse operation system of a medicallogistics company—A company where I have practiced as the object of study. Inorder to meet the increasing expansion of the pharmaceutical industry market scaleand the third party logistics service demand, A company invested58million yuanand built a logistics center with warehouse area of15276square meters. In order toensure the smooth running of warehouse operation system of logistics center, thispaper first gives a deep analysis on the process of warehouse operation system andlayout, and sets up the simulation model for it by using Flexsim system simulationsoftware, then it finds out the bottleneck factors affecting warehouse operationsystem of logistics center by analyzing the simulation results and analyzes possiblereasons for its existence. Meanwhile it re-establishes and runs the simulation model of optimization program after optimizing the layout and adjusts equipmentparameters. Finally, it verifies the reasonableness of the optimization program bycomparing the optimization simulation effect after optimization with the previousone. This provides a reference not only for the evaluation and improvement ofwarehouse operation schemes in the pharmaceutical logistics industry, but also forthe layout of process optimization and the allocation of resources.
