Resistivity is an important parameter of interpretation and evaluation of oil and gas in theoil logging. With the characteristics of higher resolution, deeper depth of investigation, moreaccurate resistivity reading and clearer invasion reflection array induction logging graduallybecomes a primary means of measuring resistivity. However, with the volume data,complicated data process, many curves to be provided, the array induction logging needsfeature-rich specialized data processing and graphical display software to achieve the accuratelogging interpretation evaluation and abundant logging information. The purpose of this thesisis to develop a specialized array induction date processing software by the use of powerfuldate visualization technology, to show the logging information in the ways of curves, graphicsand soon on, to achieve friendly interactive interface and make it easy to use for logginginterpretation workers. The main research contents and results are as followings.Firstly, the basic principles and date processing methods of array induction logging arediscussed, such as skin effect correction, borehole effect correction, and focused processingand so on.Secondly, software design-related issues are researched. A series of problems in arrayinduction logging are solved, such as reading data, plotting coordinates, removing abnormaldata points, drawing curve, communication between two tracks and so on.Finally studied is the design and realization of display interface of array induction dataprocess. Firstly realized is the2D drawing of formation depth and resistivity, in which we canremove abnormal data and display from six curves with different depth of investigation, eightfrequencis curves, and7sub-array data. Then the software can scale curve coordinate in linearor logarithmic model. Different curves are distinguished by setting colour, line type, and linewidth etc. Amplification and reduction of logging curve can be realized by the set of initialdepth,ending depth and step of logging curve. Meanwhile, the display of two contrastive datecurves in the same well can be achieved. With these settings, logging data can be presented onthe computer more intuitively in2-D graphics. Finally, it is about the design and display ofthree special graphics. With the realizing of radial depth-amplitude, frequency-amplitude andsubarray distance-amplitude graphics, it is convenient for the logging engineers to interpreteand analyse the information in array induction logging data.
