Guangzhou city as the capital of Guangdong, with therapid development of city construction, destruction and the influenceof human engineering activities on the natural environment isbecoming more and more serious, at the same time, Guangzhou specialengineering geological environment unique problems for developmentand utilization of city construction has brought profound influence.This paper have been collected in Guangzhou city regional geology,engineering geology, hydrogeology and so on the basis of geologicaldata, select the distribution of Guangzhou city wide Ordovician&Jurassic granitic rocks and their weathering belt engineeringgeological characteristics as the research object, put forwardGuangzhou granitic rocks weathering crust vertical zoning divisionstandard. Through the analysis of the results, combined with theengineering practical examples, selection of pile foundation scheme,so as to provide relevant basis for the city construction anddisaster prevention and mitigation.
