With the rapid economic development of Ningbo city, the rapid expansion of the scale,construction land shortage, the enviroment of city living space increasingly hostile, trafficcongestion, emerge in an endless stream water pollution problems, to solve the problems,sustainable city development, it is necessary to expand the city space with the capacity andimprove the environmental quality of the city functions underground space development andutilization of largescale. In order to improve the quality of the development and utilization ofunderground space, during the planning and design in the development of underground space, theinvestigation is necessary to combine to the engineering geological conditions, to evaluate theunderground geological environment suitability,also assisted in the3D geological modelingmethod to investigate the geological environmental conditions influence on the development ofspace, can provide technical support for the development and utilization of underground space inNingbo city. The main research contents of this paper are as follows:(1) According to the geological environmental conditions of Ningbo city, using theanalytic hierarchy process and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method, carried out the researchof geological suitability evaluation of underground space in Ningbo city. Using the geologicalenvironment in underground space survey data,establishes the index system of evaluation ofgeological environment and the model of fuzzy comprehensive evaluation, and undergroundspace in Ningbo city geological environment suitability evaluation system based on ArcGIS+C#.Finally, in the eastern city of Ningbo city as an example, using the evaluation of undergroundspace development and utilization evaluation system, the visual evaluation result morereasonable. The results show that: the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method and evaluationsystem of underground space geological environment can reasonably assess the suitability ofunderground space development which is based on ArcGIS+C#.(2) Based on the geologic environment evaluation, selection of drilling data of aspecific project, construct the three-dimensional geological model of the project, in the ArcGISbased on raster data method, the natural neighbor method to predict the elevation, soil surfacegenerated by correction of spatial topological relation,avoid direct cross each other in differentsoil layers, the final generation of3D geological model; and the three-dimensional model of thespecial geological structure fault construction methods are introduced, the3D geological modelcan be more intuitive and accurate geological condition expression.(3) Using three-dimensional geological model is established considering the weight ofevaluation of geological environment factors, the thickness of soft soil and strata combination on the underground space development (foundation pit engineering) influence, first to thepracticalengineering case simulation results and engineering monitoring data compareson, verify therationality of this model, and then a plurality of the simulation results of excavation under theconditions of different foundation, the evaluation index system of examination of geologicalenvironment factors on the degree of influence of foundation pit excavation, a certain degree ofunderground space in Ningbo city geological environment evaluation index system was verified.
