Shijiazhuang city which is the political, economic and cultural center of Hebei provinceis not only one of the cities taking groundwater as source of water supply mainly, but alsoone of35cities of most severe water shortage. It is imperative to evaluate water source inorder to ensure water in Shijiazhuang cities and towns, improve the guaranteed level ofwater source areas and fulfill the demands of city development.As an impotent way to utilize the limited water resource to realize the sustainabledevelopment of water resources, groundwater reservoir has the extensive applicability inwater resources development and storage. Groundwater reservoirs realize the water storagein underground, so the water loss decreased largely. The priority is more significant in aridand semiarid areas. So for the long run, it is paramount that the research of regulation andcontrol of water source areas and groundwater reservoirsThis paper focuses on HuTuoHe water source area and underground reservoir. First,summarize the basic information of water sources and the dynamic characteristics ofgroundwater table for years, evaluate the hydrogeology data of water source systematically,establish two-dimensional mathematical model of groundwater system by ProcessingMODFLOW to get geologic parameter、evaluate groundwater amount of resources andidentify groundwater allowable withdrawal. Then make sure the capacity of conditions,infiltration conditions and accumulation conditions of groundwater reservoir by penetrationtests. In the end, forecast flow flied of unified adjustment and control of groundwatersource areas and groundwater reservoirs. This paper contains these contents mainly:1. Numerical Simulation of Groundwater resources evaluationbefore water diversionproject to ensure that the exploitation of resources to13.00×10~4m~3/d. To meet theShijiazhuang City, the industrial and agricultural demand for water to remain in theoverexploitation of the operation, after the water diversion project should make use of theSouth part of the runoff, and artificial groundwater regulation and storage to increase waterrecharge, will repair and conservation of groundwater resources to ensure the security ofwater supply in Shijiazhuang City.2For manual adjusting of existing underground funnel underground reservoirs, infiltrationtest data obtained under the conditions of hydrodynamic infiltration per unit area the ability1.32m~3/m2·d, the effective recharge rate of90.7%, provedthe infiltration District has good conductivity water conditions, is a superior natural infiltration field.3Use underground funnel as the capacity of the underground reservoirs. The calculation,the storage capacity of the underground reservoir for14.38×10~8m~3.4. According to the south-to-north water transfer project of shijiazhuang city water supplybeneficial configuration optimization scheme2014-2020, storage water for167885×10~4m~3.5. By using numerical simulation and underground water source of groundwater reservoirprediction joint control, model operation underground reservoir water supply of waterduring the137477.1×10~4m~3, make water source water supply to meet demand.
