Water resource is the material basis of human survival and development, groundwater resources occupys an important position in the water resources. In arid and semiarid areas, groundwater as the main or even the only reliable source of water supply, plays a huge role in supporting sustainable economic development in some areas. With the continuous development of economic construction, development and utilization of groundwater resources scale is bigger and bigger, because of lack of scientific management and reasonable evaluation of groundwater resources and blind exploitation, appeared such as water quality deterioration, regional land, land subsidence funnel and a series of environmental geological problems, it is necessary for the correct evaluation of groundwater resources.The study area of Mayukou water source is located in the sanggan river of Datong county in Datong city. Groundwater resources in the study area is mainly distributed in Mayukou, Wengchengkou, Xifutou and Donghouzikou pluvial fan,the groundwater types is pore water, aquifer structure under vertical divided into the upper pleistocene series (Q2+4) shallow aquifer rock group (0to100m) and lower pleistocene series (Q1) deep water-bearing rock group (100to400m) two layers. In this paper, comprehensive analysis the landform conditions,hydrogeological condition and groundwater resource research degree of the Mayukou water source, determine the evaluation target aquifer is deep aquifer(Q1), and equilibriumed groundwater resources calculation and assessment of target aquifer,the evaluation results showed that the allowed production target aquifer mining of15000m3/d meet the design requirements.Based on water balance evaluation and then numerical simulation of target aquifer. Establish simulation zone hydrogeological conceptual model and corresponding mathematical model, used the international popular3d visualization professional software of groundwater resources evaluation standard-Visual Modflow to grid subdivision simulation area partition and source sink term treatment, parameters, and by using the measured data of underground water level dynamic model identification and verification, and by using the measured dynamic data of underground water in the area for model identification and verification.Finally, using the already identified and authenticated groundwater flow numerical simulation model to simulate and forcast the underground water level dynamic of the study area in the next10years. Results showed that the mining well would be arranged in Xifutou, the head level change amplitude is relatively large compared to other three pluvial fan location; In maintaining the production under the condition of15000m3/d, the water level of mining Wells would be decorated in the four diluvial fan would declined year by year, the landing funnel scope would continue to expand; from prediction of well water level drawdown,the simulation of mining area design of15000m3/d resources in general is assured.In this paper, the established groundwater flow numerical simulation model would provide scientific basises for water underground water level forecasting, water resources evaluation, scientific management of water resources,the sustainable development and protection of Mayukou water source.
