B·A·Cyxomjnhcknn, an outstanding educator of the former Soviet Union, once said,"teacher’s belief is the most precious thing in the school." Teachers’ belief is the strong support for teachers’ behavior, the key to improving teaching quality, and the influence on the improvement of teachers’professional ability. Belief is the filters of cognition as well. It does not begin in a teacher, but in the teachers’education and their inductive education, or even in their earlier education such as family education, junior secondary education, etc.. Yang Meirong’s study also finds that teacher’s belief is related to their learning experience as students. Therefore, the study on pre-service physics teachers’ beliefs is of greatly practical significance. What’s more, the study on teachers’ beliefs has come to flourish since the1980s, and then a quantity of articles on it have been published. This paper is to explore pre-service physics teachers’beliefs from Guangxi Normal University, Jiangxi Normal University and Zhejiang Normal University on the basis of the present researches and methods both in China and aboard, to know about the current situation about their beliefs and to analyze such influence factors on the pre-service physics teachers ’beliefs as their gender, being student cadres or not, parents level of education, etc.The thesis includes five steps. At the first step, according to the relevant literature review of scholars at home and abroad, the pre-employment physics teachers’ beliefs are to be divided into three dimensions, namely, the students management, the nature of physics as well as the physics teaching, while each dimension is to be divided into "traditional" and "development" approaches. Then the oriented features of the various dimensions of teachers’beliefs are to be formulated and the beliefs questionnaire of pre-service physics teachers is to be compiled. It will analyze whether the six factors affect the beliefs of pre-service physics teachers or not, namely, gender, student cadre, education practices such as a tutor, attending educational lectures of experts, their native places and parents’ level of education. At the second step, take the pilot study, after which spss17.0is used to analyze the prediction data from the questionnaire, invite experts to review the questionnaire. Unreasonable questions are to be removed from questionnaire on the basis of data processing results and the judgment of experts. The third step is to make a survey, which contains the analysis of recovery data, the reliability of the questionnaire, and the statue of the pre-employment physics teachers’beliefs by spssl7.0. It will analyze whether there are differences in the influence of such factors as gender, being student cadres, and the education practices as a tutor, attending educational lecture of experts by independent sample for T test and such factors as education level of parents and the students’native places by variance. The fourth step is to carry out semi-structured interviews by talking about impressive education events that once happened during interviewees’learning time. From the emotions when interviewees are stating, it can make a judgement and conclusion on the beliefs of interviewees. At last, it is to analyze the results and reflect the shortcomings of this study.Research results show that beliefs of pre-service physics teachers generally are in "developing" orientation. The differences in the gender, being a student cadre or not and the attendance of expert courses affect the beliefs of pre-service physics teachers. Factors, such as being a girl, having been a student leader and attended expert courses have positive impacts on their pre-service beliefs in the "developing" orientation. On the contrary, pre-service physics teachers’ beliefs do not have differences in the factors such as education level of parents and the students native places. The result of interviews shows that only one in20respondents’ impressive education events took place in the family while the rest all took place in the school. Besides, all the events are concerned with the student management as well as teaching and learning, and the student management influences most.
