Empirical Research On The Evolution Of Marine Industrial Structure In The Bohai Coast Region

The Bohai Coast Region is located in the north part of our country, which has great potential as the third engine in China’s economy following the two large regions of the Long River Triangle and the Pearl River Triangle in the China’s regional development and strategic planning. Other, the Bohai Coast Region is also an important part of coordinated development in China. Its geographical and policy superiority are extremely obvious, so national economy has made great progress. At present, marine economy which is mainly about marine industry structure has become a new economic growth point and support region to achieve sustainable development. It is important for us to learn the marine industry structure is rational and efficient or not, which is the important intrinsic protection is the marine economic development.The context is to study marine industrial structure evolution in Bohai Coast Region including Tianjin, Hebei, Liaoning and Shandong "three provinces and one city" in the new era and it divided into6chapters.The first chapter is the introduction. Which is divided three parts, the first part describes the research background and goal. The second part reviews the correlated theory of the domestic research. The third part points out the research idea, innovations and deficiencies.The second chapter carries on the summary to marine economic development. Based on it, the paper establishes the foundation for the further research.In the third chapter of the paper analyses the Bohai Coast Region’s characters in marine economy. On the one hand, it describes the resources which have provided important support for the development of marine economy in Bohai Coast Region. It also analyses the rules of marine industrial structure evolution from both the static and dynamic point of view.The fifth chapter researches marine industrial structure and competitiveness with traditional Shift-share Method and spatial model to Bohai Coast Region "three provinces and one city".
