Nowadays, with the development of information technology, the uncertainty and risk ofthe market are increased, and the competition is intensified.. Meanwhile, the theory of projectmanagement has been perfected gradually. Jingsheng Insurance Brokers Co., Ltd is one of thetop ten companies in the domestic insurance brokers market. But with the increasing marketcompetition, to keep the sustainable development of business, we have to improve thecompany management and innovation. At present, the company has started to use projectmanagement method, however, there are still many deficiencies.. Therefore, how to enhancethe company’s competitiveness through the use of project management theory and methods, isa pressing issue.Firstly this paper introduces the research results of the project management theory bothat home and abroad, then describes and analyzes the present situation of the projectmanagement in Jingsheng Insurance Brokers Co., Ltd. Secondly, this paper analyzes theproject organization structure and project performance evaluation system, and gave theimprovement countermeasures. By enhancing the project management we hope to promotethe realization of strategic goals, and improve the company’s management level. At the sametime, we hope the research results can make some contribution to the application of projectmanagement theory in the insurance brokerage industry.Through the research, the paper proposes five general countermeasures to improve thecompany project management level. Then, the paper uses matrix organization structure tomake up for the defects of the single functional project organization structure. After that, thepaper discusses how to build a trans-departmental functional project team and the possibleproblems which should be pay attention to in the process of implementing. In the end, thepaper designs a project performance evaluation system based on the enterprise strategy. In thesystem, through the use of the BSC and KPI theories, the enterprise strategy has been brokendown into some executable project goals, and project performance evaluation results are usedto optimize the company strategy. Finally, the system forms a well-established cycle of thecompany’s management.
