Insurance brokers industry has amounted to more than400years in the history ofthe developed countries in Europe, but this industry has only been officially entered inChina since the2000. Therefore, there was only11years of development process ininsurance brokers in China until2011. Nevertheless, this industry had madeimpressive results during this period, whether business or market performance, itsdevelopment was rapid. However, because of a late start, weak underlying, coupledwith the extensive development of emphasizing only on scale with ignoring quality inthe early stage, there were many problems caused in insurance brokers institutions inChina, such as business model in the same key, lack of creativity, poorcompetitiveness, low level of operation and management. Datang Taixin, which is aninsurance brokers company, was founded in the end of2010with a strong backgroundin electric power industry. As a newly established insurance brokers company, whichis required not only solve the problems of other brokers companies on the market, butneed to analysis deeply from practical side in its own business development andoverall strategy, in order to overcome shortcomings and produce the self advantage.Since2000, the insurance brokers industry in China has achieved rapiddevelopment. The Practice and Academic circles gradually began the study of theinsurance brokers industry. The theoretical research is mainly focused on three aspects:First, from the perspective of the insurance intermediary market, analysis of the basictheoretical framework of the insurance brokers company, the formation of theinsurance brokers market with the establishment and insurance brokers company inthe development process of the insurance market an important role; Second, from theemerging economic theory point of view of institutional economics and informationeconomics to analyze the problems and causes of China’s insurance brokers company at this stage, and on this basis, countermeasures and suggestions of improvement anddevelopment of the insurance brokers market; Third, from the perspective of the legal,institutional analysis of the legal status of the insurance brokers company, legalresponsibilities and their qualification, forms of organization and supervision ofmanagement.This paper discussed the suitable development strategy for Datang Taixin, i.e.“diversified marketing strategy”, which is on the basis of deep analysis and researchfrom macro, industry and itself sides by using Five force model of developmentstrategy and SWOT and finance theory. Furthermore, on this basement, this paper putforward specific implementation policy for Datang Taixin from organizationdevelopment, channel development, talent development and technology development.
