A Survey Report Of Corporate Social Responsibility Development Of Shenzhen Furu Co., Ltd.

With the development of economic globalization and the gradual deepening of China’s reform, the garment industry as one of the pillar industries in China also gained rapid development. Shenzhen is a prosperous city full of labors. Located in this city, Shenzhen Furu Company faces both opportunities and challenges exploring international market. This thesis researches on Furu Company’s social responsibility development status basing on SA8000. It is meaningful to both Furu Company and other similar companies. This thesis uses both literature review and empirical analysis method. First, it summarizes the theory of stakeholders, Carol pyramid model and SA8000certification standards. Then, it starts a research program basing on theoretical overview, with data collected by questionnaire interviews, then analyzed by SPSS software. After that, it summarizes research result and suggests a reasonable strategy and implementation procedure for enterprises to fulfill SA8000. Also, it provides experiences for similar enterprises.
