The Studies On The Feasibility Of Implementing SA8000 Standard In Chinese Enterprises

SA8000, a standard procedure for approves enterprise's responsibility, was established in 1997 by Social Accountability International (SAI )with joint efforts of European and American transnational Corporation and other international organizations. . The first revised edition SA8000:2001, gains the support of the business circles and consumers in American-European countries. SA8000 standard is the first Social responsibility international standard which can be authenticated by the third parties aiming at improving the working condition for the global workers through the moral purchasing.This thesis introduced the different understanding of the Corporation Social Responsibility and the three developing phases of the campain of the CSR.This thesis analysed the Code of the Conduct , ICTI Standard , the Code of the BSCI and SA8000 Standard and reached the conclusion that SA8000 can be widely used in different fields.This thesis emphasized the importance and necessity of implementing the SA8000 standard in the Chinese enterprises.
