A company which is built in1917, is the first windshield wiper system producer inthe world, and has been solely focusing on wiper system since the foundation. It is one ofthe largest wiper systems manufacturers in the world. It comes into China in2005.Confronted with fierce competition in China and the fact that most of wipe system islow-mid end, A company choice low cost strategy after considering strength andweakness. The low cost strategy will increase the risk of low quality. A company must facewith a lot of new challenge in SCM.The authors will analysis the current situation of SCM and the existing problems.Based on knowledge of SCM and combined with work experience in design and qualitymanagement, I put forward how to optimize the A’s supplier chain management.The thesis has five chapters. The1st is introducing the background, sense and aid ofthe thesis.The2nd Chapter is methodology. It presents the theory of supplier chain managementand low cost strategy.The3rd Chapter is making an analysis of SWOT, discussing the necessity andpossibility. It analyses the main problem in stock management, supplier management andprocess management.The4th Chapter is new challenge and problem of SCM in low cost strategy of Acompany.The5th Chapter is putting forward the method of optimizing process, improving thestock management and SCM.
